How do I do a test?

Instructions on performing the test is included with your test kit. We’ve also included them on the product pages:

What if my sample contains a mix of more than one substance?

If the testing liquid reacts with the substances separately, it will react with them together as well.

For example, if your sample contains Ecstasy (MDMA) mixed with Speed (amphetamine), both will react simultaneously resulting in a muddy color with the Marquis Test. With Ecstasy alone, you’d expect a purple/black color.

Reaction of one drug can be much darker and more intense than another. If this is the case, it can be difficult or impossible to see the reaction of the second drug. This is a limitation of colorimetric testing.

How much of the sample should I use?

A very small sample is sufficient. In general, your sample should be about this size: ( ● )

Unless otherwise indicated, use the following guidelines:
Pill: Scrape off about 5% of the pill.
Powder: Use a few grains, about the size of a pinhead.
Paper: Cut off a small corner.
Liquid: Place a couple of drops on a small piece of uncoated paper.

How much testing liquid should I use on my sample?

One or two drops of the reagent is enough.

How reliable are the tests?

While reagent testing is the best method for on-the-spot testing, it is never 100% conclusive. There are many variables that can impact what the reaction looks like. Lighting, impurities, and unwanted substances in your sample may all play a role.

What’s that powdery substance or pink stuff inside the container that came with my kit?

There’ll either be a powdery substance or a pink fluffy material in the white jar you receive. Both are absorbent materials. In the off-chance that there’s a spill during transport, it prevents the reagent from doing any damage to its surroundings. We include it as an extra precaution. You can also conduct your tests over the jar so that if a drop misses the testing vial, the reagent will land onto the absorbent material.

How long does the testing liquid last before it expires?

Our reagents come in durable glass bottles. The testing liquid will last a long time (over 4 years) if you store it appropriately. They will expire very quickly if you keep them in warm place or in the sun.

Recommendations:

  • Store reagents at a cool temperature. A freezer is ideal. If that’s not possible, try storing at a consistent temperature in the range of 2°–22°C (36°–72°F).
  • Store the bottle upright.
  • Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight.
  • Replace caps immediately and tighten them carefully so that exposure to air and humidity is limited.
  • If you have more than one reagent, avoid switching bottle caps!

Our tests that come in glass ampoules (e.g. purity tests) should be stored at room temperature and are guaranteed for 3 years.

Are your test kits legal?

Yes. Our test kits do not contain any controlled substances or materials.

Why didn’t I didn’t get an email confirmation after placing an order?

Email confirmations are automatically sent when we’ve received your order, and when we’ve processed it. If you haven’t received one, please check your spam folder. Message sometimes end up there.

How much will my order cost with shipping, tax and everything?

That depends on where your parcel is being delivered and whether you choose the regular or express shipping service. The easiest way to preview the total cost of your order is to add the items you want to your shopping cart and then select your shipping destination.

We’re not responsible if any customs charges, duties or taxes that are assessed and levied by your country.

How long will it take before I get my order?

Orders placed before 11:30 am EST almost always ship on the same business day. Orders placed after 11:30 ship the business day after they were placed. For North American orders, express shipping usually takes from 2 to 6 business days, regular shipping usually takes between 3 and 10 business days.

Please keep in mind that international (outside Canada) orders must pass through customs, which can sometimes add a delay.

When I track my parcel, why aren’t there any progress updates?

Status tracking depends on the when Canada Post (and USPS) scans your parcel’s barcode. This is Canada Post’s answer:

Payment

In which currency will I be charged?

All charges are in Canadian dollars or US dollars depending on your selection at checkout. If you don’t use a Canadian or US credit card, you’ll automatically be charged in your local currency. The exact amount charged will depend on the current exchange rate and any fees your bank may charge.

What payment methods do you accept?

You can order online through our secure web page via credit card (Visa, MasterCard), and virtual currency (Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dash, Bitcoin Cash, Monero).

To protect your privacy, will appear on your statement if you pay by credit/debit card.


Security & Privacy

Are transactions on your website secure?

For your protection as well as ours, all transactions take place through a secure server. Our website uses the most powerful available encryption technology (256-bit Secure Sockets Layer) to prevent personal information from being intercepted and used. This ensures that all information you send to us via the World Wide Web will be encrypted.

If any other Internet user intercepts the communication, he/she will only be able to see it in an encrypted (garbled) form.

We do not store credit card information after the order is processed.

What is your privacy policy? Do you keep my personal information private?

We firmly believe in practicing responsible e-business. Absolutely all information submitted to us is kept private. We do not and will never divulge, sell or reveal any information you submit to anybody. We do not store credit card information after the order is processed. Is your packaging discreet?

Yes. All orders are shipped in plain brown boxes with no Test Kit Plus logos or product related markings.

If I pay by credit card, what will appear on my statement?

To protect your privacy, Test Kit Plus text will appear on your statement if you pay by credit/debit card.


Affiliates

How do I sign up?

If you accept the terms in the Affiliate Agreement, then sign up by filling out our affiliate registration form.

How and when do I get paid?

We send all affiliates commission payments via Interac e-Transfer (for Canadian affiliates), or PayPal (for non-Canadian affiliates). Payments are made on a monthly basis approximately 30 days after the end of each month.

When the total commissions due to you exceed fifty Canadian dollars ($50.00 CAD), a payment in Canadian dollars will be disbursed to you for the applicable commission. If, at the end of each month period your earned commissions are less than $50.00 CAD, such earned commissions will be held and accumulated until such time that the earned commission equals $50.00 CAD or more, at which point they will be paid.

How are orders through my links tracked?

All affiliate links contain a unique ID. This ID lets us to identify customers coming from through your links and to credit you if they make a purchase.

The visitor doesn’t have to order from us right away; if they come back within 21 days and place an order, you still get the credit.

Does it cost anything to join the Affiliate Program?

Joining our Affiliate Program is completely free.

How much commission will I make as an affiliate?

You earn 15% of each sale you send our way.

When someone clicks your link and orders from us, you’ll be credited for that order. The visitor doesn’t have to order from us right away; if they come back within 30 days and place an order, you still get the credit.

Who can become an affiliate?

Anyone can! And it’s easy to do. Simply register as an affiliate, paste the links we give you, and start earning $.

What’s your Affiliate Program all about?

Our affiliate program let’s you earn commissions for sales on our website from customers that were referred by you. Once you sign up, you can place links to our products in your website, Facebook page, Twitter, email etc. When your friend clicks one of your links and makes a purchase on our website, you will be credited for the sale and receive a commission on each sale (15%). We give you the tools you need to set up links on your site, as well as password protected access to track your sales.
